Mrs. Hart was a resident of Thomasville, GA for 36 years, originally from Chicago, Ill. She died at her residence May 3, 2011. Mrs. Hart started her working career in the animal fields. She was Thomasville/Thomas County?s first female animal control officer a post which she held for several years until being promoted to the shelter manger. She was a self taught full charge Bookkeeper, a position she held with several companies for over 25 years. Mrs. Hart was born on October 12, 1954, to parents William J. Demkowicz Sr. and Geraldine Opasik Demkowicz. Beverly was an avid animal lover of all creatures, she made sure her birds and squirrels were fed daily, she?s had many wild raccoon families that she fed by hand, that came daily to eat. Beverly was the most gracious, caring and compassionate person to everyone that knew her. She would do anything that was asked of her if it was in her power to do it. Beverly?s pride and joy were her husband , pet Alex and her home, she was a hard worker all of her life, she took a wooded home site and turned it into a home all with her own two hands, a wheel barrow and axe. Jesus has called Beverly home where she will be at peace. Survivors include her beloved husband Everett Gaynor Hart Jr. married May 7th, 1988; sister Marcia Werner of Chicago, Ill.; brother William J. Demkowicz Jr. of Seminole, Fl.; sister Sandra L. Demkowicz of Seminole , Fl.; brother Daniel A. Demkowicz of Thomasville, Ga.; uncle Dave Opasik and wife Susie of Jensen Beach, Fl.; uncle Jim Opasilk and wife Mary of Baltimore, Md.; Beloved best friend yorkie Alex; dear friends and neighbors Howard and Patsy Stephens of Thomasville and many other relatives and friends.
