In Loving Memory of Billie Joe Jones
Billie Joe Jones, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, left this world on December 10, 2023, at the age of 77. Born on December 27, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, MO to the late Joseph Clinton and Jewell Champion Jones. Billie's adventurous spirit led him to touch the lives of many.
Billie Joe's journey was one filled with hard work and dedication. He pursued a career in logging, working for Jim Walter Homes before venturing out to establish his own successful logging business. Known for his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors, Billie Joe embraced the challenges of his profession with gusto.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Billie Joe will be remembered for his warm heart and the genuine connections he forged with others. He had an infectious personality, always ready with a helping hand and a friendly smile. Billie Joe never met a stranger, and it seemed he had an innate ability to make those around him feel instantly welcome.
Billie Joe's greatest joy in life was his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ginger Doerrbecker Jones of Whigham, as well as his children Bradley Jones of Florida, April Trone of Vincennes,IN., Emily Bedwell of Thomasville, Sarah Clark of Thomasville, Rebecca Service of Whigham, and Angela Olson (Joey) of Coolidge. His legacy will continue through his cherished grandchildren: Joe, Adam, Melody, Brittney, Brandon, James, Chloe, and Keegan. He is preceded in death by daughter Robin Ashley Jones and granddaughter Hannah.
While we mourn the loss of a remarkable man, we also celebrate the vibrant and memorable life Billie Joe lived. In honor of his memory, we invite you to join us for a visitation at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel on December 15, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00pm. This will be an opportunity to share stories, reminisce, and find solace in the presence of loved ones during this difficult time.
Billie Joe Jones touched the lives of many and his memory will forever remain in our hearts. As we say our final goodbyes, let us reflect on the joy he brought into our lives and the lessons he taught us about the value of hard work, kindness, and love.
