Funeral services for Billy John Clark of Thomasville are at 2:00PM Sunday, May 30, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Wooten and the Rev. Don Prevatt will officiate. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Clark died Thursday at his residence. Born April 6, 1927 in Thomasville he was the son of the late Andrew Boyer Clark and Jessica Cornelia Hancock Clark. He was an assistant plant manager for Coats and Clarks and a member of Dawson Street Baptist Church. On May 23, 1947 in Thomasville he married Betty Maxine Morris Clark who survives. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Charles Edward Eddie & Del Clark of Tucker, GA, David Ashley and Tina Clark of Douglasville, John Leslie and Elizabeth Clark of Kingsland, GA, daughter and fiancé, Betty Darlene Bailey and Ken Daniels of Live Oak, FL, daughter and son-in-law, Stacey Maxine and Mark Myrick of Thomasville, brother, Lewis Clark, grandchildren, Joshua Kyle Clark, Brigitte Nichole Bailey, Whitney Lee Myrick and Justin Marcus Myrick. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Harrington, Claudia Williams, Mary Williams, Ethel Shepherd, Betty Smith and Jewel Littleton and brothers Branson, Fondren and James Clark.
