Services for Billy Junior Bramlett, 85, of Quitman, are at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at Salem Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Thilmon Vonier will officiate and interment is in Salem Church Cemetery. Mr. Bramlett died November 26 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born September 8, 1922, in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Milton Chastain and Annie Vonier Bramlett. On November 25, 1950, he married Dorothy Virginia Wadsworth who preceded him in death. He was an aircraft mechanic and he served in the United States Navy during WWII. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Billy D. and Doris Bramlett of Dublin, VA. and Milton and Pam Bramlett of Thomasville; grandchild, Jamey Bramlett of Thomasville; special cousins, Winfred and Reba Gandy, Stanley and Jan Gandy, Lavaughn Gandy, Emerson and Linda Gandy, Lester and Kaye Lamb, Glenn and Ann Lanier, Sheba Thomas, Gail and George Hoke and Linda Antill. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
