Graveside services for Billy Austin Lane, 81, of Coolidge will be on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:00AM at Big Creek Cemetery. Mr. Lane passed away on June 27, 2014 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born July 31, 1932 in Big Stone Gap, VA, he was the son of the late William Howard Lane and the late Georgia Peterson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a pipe fitter for Thomasville Plumbing. Other survivors include daughters, Stara Jan Lane of LaGrange, GA and Debra Kay Blackmon of Coolidge, GA, and son Michael Austin Lane of Quincy, GA, brothers, Ray Lane of Big Stone Gap, VA, Daniel Lane of Big Stone Gap, VA and sisters, Anne McNairie of Royal Oak, MI, Ellen Nichols of Big Stone Gap, VA and Charlotte Griffin of Big Stone Gap, VA, 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
