Funeral services for Billy E. Taylor Sr. of Thomasville will be held at 11AM on Tuesday December 7th at Dawson Street Baptist Church with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. Taylor passed away on Friday December 3, 2021 at Southern Pines Senior Living. Born on February 6, 1928 in Grady County, he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Taylor and Bertha Ponder Taylor. Mr. Taylor was retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company/Keebler as a Sales Manager. He was a long-time member of Dawson Street Baptist Church, Golden K Kiwanis and the Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369 for over 65 years. He was married to Frances England Taylor who passed away on December 25, 2010. He was currently married to Louise Owens Taylor of Thomasville. Other survivors include his sons Billy E. Taylor, Jr. and wife Shamane of Thomasville, Thomas E. Taylor and wife Debbie of Marietta, Ga; 2 grandchildren; Reece England Taylor and Brantley Nicole Taylor. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday December 6, 2021 from 5PM to 7PM at the Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville Ga. In lieu of flowers his family ask that donations be made to Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369 or Dawson Street Baptist Church.
