Services for Bob Vance Reeves, 88 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 24 at Northwoods Church of God. Rev. Carlton Bassett will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Reeves passed away March 20. Born November 15, 1925 in Thomasville he was the son of the late Lloyd Hamilton Reeves and Ibera McKinney Reeves. He was married to Dorothy Nell Yates Reeves who preceded him in death. Mr. Reeves was a Veteran of the US Army serving in WWII in the Philippine Liberation Theater and the Battle of Luzon. He was a member of Northwoods Church of God; the Georgia Sheriff’s Boys Ranch and he raised exotic birds. He is survived by his children, Gale Loyd Reeves and Marilyn Thomas Reeves, Zelyn Randolph Reeves and Sandra Martin Reeves all of Thomasville, Barbara Reeves Gray and Thomas Gray of Moultrie, Jimmy Charles “Pete” Reeves and Renee O’Brien Reeves of Pavo; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Lindsey Reeves, Edith Reeves Jones, Linda Reeves Jones, Theo “Joe” Reeves, Kenneth Reeves, Lewis Reeves and granddaughter Dorothy Jane Reeves, great-grandchildren William L. and Lloyd H.
