Services for Bobbie Devon Irvin (Pop Irvin) will be Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2PM at Faith Christian Center in Cairo, GA. Pastor Bill Staten and Pastor Tommy Odum will officiate. Mr. Irvin passed away June 27, 2019. Born September 27, 1933, Mr. Irvin was the son of the late Vonie Irvin and Louise Carr, who preceded him in death. Mr. Irvin was a member of the Faith Christian Center in Cairo and was Co-Owner of Pat’s Petro Convenience Station. He was a devoted Christian and loved to fish. Mr. Irvin is survived by his wife, Patsy Ann Vickers Irvin; his children L.D. Irvin (Donna) of Cedartown, Norman Irvin of Cave Spring, Lum Irvin (Donna) of Calhoun, Jimmy Irvin (Lonnita) of Cave Spring, Bobbie Johnson (Phillip) of Cedartown, Laura Odum (Larry) of Cairo, and Jimmy Mozingo of Cairo; sister Juanita Bailey (Benny) of Kentucky and brother Frank Carr (Linda) of Leesburg and numerous half-brothers and sisters. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Lawrence Carr, Luther Carr, Roy Carr Jr., Kenneth Irvin, stepfather Roy Carr Sr. and his granddaughter Stormy Johnson.
