Bobby Lee Farmer

A memorial mass for Bobby Lee Farmer, 77 of Thomasville, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he was a member. Father David Koetter will officiate. Mr. Farmer died on June 10, 2016 in Thomasville. Born June 23, 1938 in Sylvester, Georgia, he was the son of the Charlie Newton and Ruby Culpepper Farmer. He was married to Mary Louise Turnberg, who survives. Mr. Farmer was retired from Coats & Clark and was active in Knights of Columbus. Other survivors include his daughter Jennifer Farmer Blickensderfer and her husband James of Louisburg, North Carolina and a special niece Teena Farmer of Ochlocknee. Other survivors include grandchildren Chasity Aikins, Elizabeth Blickensderfer, Jessica Blickensderfer, and Jaime Rae Blickensderfer. He was preceded in death by a daughter Debbie Hain, a brother Charles Farmer and a sister Willen Scarborough.
