Bobby James Ansley

Graveside services for Bobby James Ansley, 64 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Milton C. Gardner will officiate. Mr. Ansley passed away April 29 at his residence. Born July 11, 1948 in Cairo, he was the son of Jim Ansley, who survives and the late Madie Joiner Ansley. On February 15, 1969 in Cairo he married Dawn Norris Ansley who survives. Mr. Ansley was a 1966 graduate of Cairo High School and worked at Hurst Boiler as a purchasing agent. He began his career in the boiler business in 1968 at Industrial Boiler Company later known as Clever Brooks. His tenure ended with 8 years at Hurst Boiler Company. He also enjoyed golfing on the weekends with his friends. Other survivors include daughter, Mariea A. Hester and husband William of Thomasville; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelcie, Ansley, William, Jr and Aviana; sister, Janie Cassels and husband Jim; sister-in-laws, Lynne Chastain and husband Allan and Kay Marple and husband Rob. He was preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly "Kim" Ansley. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com
