Bobby Ray Mobley

Memorial services for Bobby Ray Mobley, 83 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Mobley passed away May 2, 2019, at his residence. Born April 12, 1936, in Williamston, NC., he was the son of the late R.L. Mobley and Nellie Rogerson Mobley. Mr. Mobley was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and he graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelors degree. He was a computer programmer and pastored several churches. Mr. Mobley was also a high school teacher and coached several high school sports. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rachel Leggett Mobley; son, Timothy Ray Mobley and wife Pam of Brussels, Belgium; daughter, Angela Parrott and husband Jamie of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Jeremy Parrott, Jake & Lilli Parrott, Kaylee Parrott, Joy Mobley Hoffman & Tyler Hoffman, Sarah Mobley and Juliette Mobley; great-grandchildren, Dakota Parrott, Bella Parrott, Zoe Parrott, Madeleine Parrott, Ronan Parrott, Anna Hoffman and Sophia Hoffman; brothers and sisters, Roger Mobley, Kenny Mobley, Ricky Mobley, Ruby M. Coltrain, Janice M. Clark and Shelby M. Alessi. He was also preceded in death by brother, Billy Mobley and sisters, Maxine Ouellette and Nelda Mobley.
