Services for Bonnie Brown, 84, Thomasville are at 2:00PM, Thursday, June 27, 2002 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Morris Nichols will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Cummings, Norman NeSmith, Wyatt Revels, Tommy Mobley, Rodney Collins and Jack Shephard. Mr. Brown was born April 14, 1918 in Thomas County, the son of the late Eleck Brown and Lula Durden Brown Jones. He was married to Mary Jones Brown, who survives. He retired from the State Highway Department in 1980. Other survivors include a son & daughter-in-law, Lougene Gene & Patricia Brown,; grandchildren, Karen M. Brown, Tracy L. & Robert Greek; great grandchildren, Krista Greek & Daniel Greek; brother & sister-in-law, Ellis & Betty Jean Brown; sister Winnie Bizzell, sister & brother-in-law, Geneva & Russell Hampton and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Paul Brown and a sister Rosie Lee Weldon and a daughter-in-law, Beatrice Wilford Brown.
