Services for Bonnie Jean Shierling of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Monday, December 20, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Keith Cowart, the Rev. Ken Webb and the Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Nephews will be pallbearers. Mrs. Shierling died December 18, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 11, 1932 in Brooks Co., GA. she was the daughter of the late Isaac B. and Stella Parker Jones. On August 28, 1955 she married Marcus O. Shierling who survives. She was a member of Christ Community Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Tammy Shierling of Palm Harbor, FL., Mike and Lisa Shierling of Bristol, FL., son, Rick Shierling of Thomasville, son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Tami Shierling of Dixie, GA., grandchildren, Julia Shierling, Jason Shierling, Elizabeth Shierling, Sarah Shierling, Drake Shierling, brothers, Isaac Jones of Lake Park, GA., Ed Jones of Thomasville, Tommy Jones of Lexington, NC., sisters, Jessie Wilson of Screven, GA., Madeline Howell, Bernice Barnard both of Thomasville, Ruth Flowers of Perry, FL., Betty Tucker of Thomasville and Margaret Alderman of Lake Park, GA. Memorials may be made to Christ Community Presbyterian Church, 1040 Glenwood Dr., Thomasville, GA 31792. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-5PM on Sunday.
