Services for Bonnie Lewis Lamb, 84, of Thomasville are 11:00 am, Monday, December 27, 2010 at Glad Tidings Assembly, where he was a member. Rev. Brent Welch and Rev. David Lamb will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Lamb passed away December 21, 2010 at his residence. Born July 24, 1926 in Toombs, Co GA, he was the son of the late Henry Thomas Lamb and Seffie Lula Mae Hackle Lamb. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marion Jewette Judy Lamb and was later married to Jacquelyn Wirick Lamb, who survives. Mr. Lamb was a Veteran of WWII and served in the Pacific Theater; was a retired fireman from the City of Thomasville; operated Lamb?s Garage and was a member of the dive team rescue squad. Survivors include his wife Jacquelyn Wirick Lamb, son, David Gerald Lamb of Nassau, Bahamas, daughter, Carol Howell and husband Randy of Thomasville, daughter, Lisa Hester and husband Tim of Thomasville and step-daughter, Connie McElvey and husband Robert of Lake Park; grandchildren, Kevin Lamb and wife Melissa, Keith Lamb and wife Charity, Dawn Swan and husband Steve, Dustin Lamb, Derrick Howell and wife Christina, Deidre Powell and husband Justin, and Ashley Jordan and fiancé Buck Vanhorn; step grandchildren, Brandon Dampier and wife Mary Ellen and Brent Dampier and wife Kassie; great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Lamb, Raelin Swan, Ryah Swan, Bradley Howell, Logan Howell, Ella Dampier, Jackson Dampier, Luke Dampier, Mabry Dampier. Also surviving are brothers, Donnie Lamb and wife Ruth of Moultrie and Gene Lamb and wife Betty of Norman Park; sister, Dalphine Hiers of Sandersville. He was preceded in death by son Paul Lewis Lamb. The family will receive friends 6-9 pm, Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
