Bonnie J. Moore

Bonnie J. Moore, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at her residence. She was born on June 28, 1937, in Houston, Texas, and resided in Thomasville, Georgia at the time of her passing. Bonnie Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, cherished friend, and an exceptional member of society.

Bonnie, known for her kind and generous spirit, found joy in helping others. She was member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church, she participated in various charitable activities and took pleasure in bringing food and snacks to family, friends, and acquaintances. Her homemade salsa was a delight to all who tasted it, and she generously shared her recipe when asked.

Bonnie selflessly dedicated her time to making a difference in the lives of others. She had a special place in her heart for her pets. She loved working outside in her garden, growing her chilies for her salsa, cooking and arts and crafts.

Bonnie’s memory will be forever cherished by her surviving relatives. She is survived by her children Bonnie Marie Alpha of Houston, Texas, Beatrice Barela of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Paul Gene Guerrero of Henderson, Nevada, Chris Guerrero of Thomasville, Georgia, Mary Guerrero of Washington State, Bedford (Sonny) Chandler of Crystal River, Florida, Angy Vasquez of Las Cruces, New Mexico; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her brother, Gene Gutierrez, and sisters, Irene Wright and Bea Trujillo.

Bonnie’s presence in the community will be greatly missed, as she brought happiness and positivity to all those around her. Her dedication to helping others and her genuine love for life touched the hearts of many. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and the importance of giving back.

The funeral service to celebrate Bonnie Jean Moore's life will be held at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 10:00 am, where she worshipped and found solace. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share their fond memories of her on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Bonnie Jean Moore's departure from this world is mourned, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
