Bryant Harvard Jr.

Funeral services for Lucius Bryant Harvard Jr., 80, will be held Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Timothy Filston will officiate. Mr. Harvard passed away on July 23, 2018 at his residence. Born May 6, 1938 in Thomasville, Ga he was the son of the late L.B. (Dude) Harvard and Grace Chastain Harvard. On December 20, 1963 he married Kathryn Phillips Harvard who survives. Mr. Harvard was a graduate of Thomasville High School and Auburn University. Mr. Harvard was retired from Sunnyland Foods and then became a farmer where he worked with livestock and pecans. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and an Elder. Other survivors include sons Jefferson Phillips Harvard and wife Barbara, L.B.(Luke) Harvard III and wife Kim all of Thomasville, William Jason Harvard and wife Nicole of Big Canoe, Ga.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother Joe C. Harvard and sisters Nancy Harvard Jones and husband Randy, Ruth Harvard Salter and husband Ron. His family will greet friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
