Services for Burnice C. "B.C." Morris, 77 of Pavo will be held 2 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Billy Majors will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Timothy Duncan, Travis Royal, Cole Harrison, Kevin Morris, Daniel Inlow and Dustin Inlow. Mr. Morris passed away October 26 at his residence. Born February 9, 1934 in Grady Co, he was the son of the late William Milton Morris and Mary Lou Bass Morris. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Dollie Johnson Morris. Mr. Morris was a member of First Newark Baptist Church and retired from the railroad. He had the gift of music and could play any instrument he put his hands on. He loved to fish, hunt and being with friends and family. Other survivors include son Jerry G. Morris and wife Verna; daughter Deborah M. Barden; grandchildren, Tania D. Royal and husband Travis, Timothy D. Duncan and wife Jessica, Kevin Morris, Stacy Morris and Brandy Weldon and husband Jeremy; sisters, Elaine Tillery of Moultrie, Mary Ann Plymel of Thomasville, Bobbie S. Stephens and husband Bill of Sopchoppy, Fl, and Maggie M. Wood of Coolidge; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends, Gail & Doug Roddenberry and his beloved pet "Booger".
