Butler (Bud) Perry

Funeral services for Butler (Bud) French Perry, 77, of Thomasville, will be held 2:00PM, Sunday December 11, 2016 at Eastside Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Robson will officiate and interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Perry passed away on December 9, 2016 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 17, 1939 in Laconia, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Alonzo Wright and Gladys Perry. Mr. Perry worked with the City of Thomasville for over 30 years and retired as a Deputy Fire Chief. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church for over 40 years and was very involved with the bus ministry. He also worked for many years with the Meals on Wheels program. Survivors include his wife Sandra Perry; sons, Ricky Perry of Thomasville, Robbie Perry, Sr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughters Patricia Ratliff and husband James of Tallahassee and Cyndee Keel and husband Jackson of Barney, Georgia; grandchildren Dylan Ratliff, Jesse Ratliff, Brittany Keel, Jackson Keel, IV, Mitchell Keel, Gabriel Keel, Robert Perry, Jr, Audrey Butler, and India Perry; great grandchildren Nevaeh Butler. He was preceded in death by sister Lora Perry and brother Alonzo Perry. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM.
