C. C. Collier Jr.

Funeral services for C.C. Collier, Jr., 97 of Ochlocknee will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Gene Brock and Rev. Nathan Fowler will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scott Allen, Layne Allen, Brinson Taylor, Lindon Clanton, Shelby Sibley and Cole Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be James Law, Charles Law, Julian Law, Ray Collier, Kyle Moore, Kenny Wayne Sibley and Charles Carter. Mr. Collier passed away March 15, 2022 at his residence. Born December 19, 1924 in Ochlocknee, he was the son of the late C.C. Collier, Sr. and Bertha Palmer Collier. He was married for 75 years to Elouise Sangster Collier, who preceded him in death. He was a farmer and long-time member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church where he held the honor of Deacon Emeritus. He worked with Ga Farm Bureau and Soil and Water Conservation for many years. He is survived by daughters, Elizabeth Clanton of Ochlocknee and Linda Allen and husband Lester of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Stacey Taylor Moore, Brinson Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Lindon Clanton, Scott Allen and Angela & Shelby Sibley; 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel.
