C. Wayne Morris

Graveside services for C. Wayne Morris, 72, of Ochlocknee will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Cook will officiate. Mr. Morris died on September 28, 2013 at his residence. Born on July 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Joseph Glenn and Susan Annie Smith Morris. On September 7, 1979 in Thomasville he married Alice Rehberg Morris, who survives. Mr. Morris worked in construction and was a member of the Flint River Sams Camping Group. Other survivors include stepchildren, Juanita Johnson and her husband Peter, Ken Lyman, Bill Lyman and his wife Cathy and Alice Wilson and her husband Mike. Also surviving is a sister, Elizabeth Graham, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by a step daughter, Judy Lyman, brothers, Lewis Morris, Talmadge Morris and sisters Jospehine Collins, Louise Brown and Genette Brown.
