Funeral services for Callie Elizabeth Bennett Pullen, 96, of Boston will be at 2:00PM, Monday, August 15, 2016 at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Gainesville, Georgia. Pastor Joe Brothers will officiate and interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Pullen passed away on August 10, 2016 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born March 10, 1920 in Gainesville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late William L. Bennett and Ethel LeMaster Bennett. Mrs. Pullen worked as a cashier at Colonial, Big Star and later at Grand Union Grocery, where she retired from. She was a member of Boston Baptist Church. Mrs. Pullen enjoyed puzzles, and reading. She was also a great cook and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Survivors include daughters Linda Napoleone and husband Jack of Boston, Margaret Collins and husband Steve of Snellville; son, Ernest Pullen and wife Melanie of Canton; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother Benny Bennett and wife Alba of Gainesville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. The family will receive friends before the service 1:00Pm until 2:00PM at the funeral home.
