Carl Kirby King, 85 of Boston passed away March 13, 2017 in Tallahassee. Born February 19, 1932 in Metcalf, he was the son of the late Charles Young King and Donia Reichert King. Mr. King was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Korea. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked in the plumbing and electrical business with his brother C Y King. And he was an avid coin collector and fisherman. He is survived by daughter, Donia M. McBride of Tallahassee; son, Kevin Kirk King and daughter-in-law, Anne Marie of Antioch, Tennessee; grandchildren, Paul Anthony Sloan, Marchael James, Elizabeth Barnum, Blue Barnum and 1 great-grandchild, Nevaeh James. He is also preceded in death by sisters, Eunice Dew, Lucille Ward, and Jeweldine Brightwell; brothers, CY King and Lamar King. He was the youngest of six. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with military honors at 5pm.
