Services for Clifton Carlese Cox, age 75 passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 of a heart attack. He was born September 15, 1938 to Alice Ray Cox and Henry Carl Cox, both deceased. He was a graduate of Meigs Highschool. He lived most of his adult life in Thomasville. He was an avid and fervent fan of the Thomasville Bulldogs. He enjoyed helping them any way that he could. He is survived by his wife Naomi Majors Cox. Other survivors are son, Scott and Missy Cox and daughter Michelle all of Thomasville, and also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two loving sisters, Jewell Graben of Birmingham, AL and Betty Dean of Barwick, Ga; step-children, Kenneth and Jackie Majors, James Majors, Ricky Majors, Mary Beth and Tim Coram all of Thomasville and Danny and Allison Majors of Ocala, FL; and 12 step grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Donations may be made out to the Thomasville Touchdown Club, P.O. Box 784, Thomasville, GA 31799. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Thomasville High School football team. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 4:00-6:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the burial to follow in Meigs City Cemetery.
