Carlton Hiram Plymel

Funeral services for Carlton Hiram Plymel of Thomasville will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at the Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel at 2:00PM. The Rev. W.J. Plymel will officiate and interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Plymel, Jerry Baker, Bill Tanner, Brian Davis, Kent Croft and Brian Brumblow. Mr. Plymel was a retired truck driver for Amerigas and a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. On October 5, 1962 in Thomasville he married Mary Ann Morris Plymel who survives. Born June 19, 1927 in Thomas Co., GA., he was a son of the late Melvin C. Plymel and Lillie Mae Davis. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Carlton Ray and Joan Plymel of Rome Georgia; a daughter, Terry Brumblow of Thomasville and a daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Todd Young of Thomasville; Brother, Mayo Plymel of Thomasville and sister, Eva Mae Daniels of Thomasville; Grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristy Plymel, Jaime and Chad Maddox, Timothy Brumblow, Cody Brumblow and Chad Young and 2 great grandchildren, Emma Rae Maddox and Savanna Hope Plymel. Mr. Plymel was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Mayo Plymel. The family will receive Friends from 7-9PM Tuesday at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
