Services for Carlton Lewis Doane, Jr. of Pavo are at 4:00PM on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at the Doane Family Cemetery. Mr. Doane died August 22 at his residence. Born February 11, 1950 in Atlanta, GA he was the son of Carlton Lewis Doane, Sr. and Katherine Beaty Doane who survives in Atlanta. On October 16, 1987 in Valdosta he married Teresa T. J. Folson Doane who survives. Mr. Doane was a veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith. He was a forklift driver for Siemens. Other survivors include son, Denny Doane of Ochlocknee, sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Kristin Doane of Thomasville, Jamie and Kelly Terrell of Valdosta; grandchildren, Jarret Adam Doane, Michael, Hunter, Carlie and Hannah Terrell, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Smith of Atlanta and many loving friends and family.
