Funeral Services for Carmen Estelle Watson will be Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at 10:30a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the Bishop Charles W. King officiating. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Watson died on May 18, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1937 in Miami, FL and married A.D. Pat Watson on July 30, 1954 in Miami. Mrs. Watson was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Georgia Nurses Association. She was also the former President of the Relief Society for her church. She was also a foster parent for over 140 children. Mrs. Watson was the daughter of the late Edward Charles Genter, Sr. and Sarah Naomi Blanton. Survivors include her husband, A. D. Pat Watson, son and daughter-in-law Dallas Mathew Watson and Ronnell Zeigler Watson of Tallahassee, Fl, daughter and son-in-law Debora Watson Peterson and Leon Reese Peterson of Blackfoot, Idaho, son and daughter-in-law Daniel Edward Watson Sr. and Gail Gibson Watson of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law Melodie Watson Barden and Karl Maurice Barden of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter and son-in-law Michelle Watson Petersen and James Allen Petersen Jr. of Gainesville, GA, son and daughter-in-law James Rick Detrick Watson and Nicole Stevenson Watson of Panama City, FL. Survivors also include sister and brother-in-law Dolores G. Lennon and Den Lennon and brother and sister-in-law Edward Charles Genter II and Marina Genter. Mrs. Watson had 27 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9p.m. on Monday night. Friends may sign the online guest register at
