Carolyn Thompson Griffin

A private service for Carolyn Thompson will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Carolyn,76, of Thomasville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 8,2022. She was born in 1945 to parents, Fondren and Agnes Thompson. She married Horton Griffin, Jr. in 1967 and was blessed with four children. Carolyn taught elementary and junior high school for many years in both Georgia and Florida. She retired in 2005 due to health problems while living in Orange Park, Florida. She enjoyed spending time w/her family, especially her eight grandchildren, and all of her many...many...many cats. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Fondren and Agnes Thompson, her youngest daughter, Lydia Haydu, and her son, Baby Boy Griffin. Carolyn , (Ma-ma-ma & Mama Griff)is survived by her loving family. Lynn Griffin Boone (fiance', Mark Neubauer), Kaley Boone, Tyler Boone, Dana Griffin Dotson, Devon Davis (Blake), Dalaina Dotson, Daylynn Dotson, Deeaira Ellison, Dylan Martin (Emilee) and Larissa Haydu. And other beloved family in North Georgia, including first cousins, Ernie Bond,Herbert Bond , Diane Bond and their families.
