Miss. Carolyn Elizabeth McCleskey, age 94, of Quitman passed away on August 15, 2023, at Presbyterian Home of Quitman. An Atlanta native, she was born on August 18, 1928, to the late Thaddeus Leroy and Lila Ensel Broadhurst McCleskey. She was also preceded in death by her brother Thaddeous L. McCleskey, Jr. She was a member of Capital View Presbyterian Church of Atlanta. Carolyn attended the University of Georgia and went on to work for Southern Bell Telephone Company.
A private burial will take place at Mars Hill Cemetery of Ackworth where she will be laid to rest next to her family.
