Services for Carroll Benson Brock of Ochlocknee are at 10:00AM of Thursday, July 25, 2002 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Johnny Cooper will officiate with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brock died July 22, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1936 in Meigs, Ga., he was the son of the late Vester Benson Brock and Myrtle Lee Fields Brock. On Feb. 21, 1981 in Ochlocknee he married Hilda Heaton Brock who survives. He was a security guard at General Electric and a member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church, Ochlocknee City Councilman, Ochlocknee Civic Club, Santa Claus for many civic clubs, church and city functions. Other survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Debbie & Bob McAnally of Tallahassee, Fl., Patricia & Jerry Graham of Ochlocknee, Pamela Brock-Cascanet of Keystone Heights, Fl., sons & daughter-in-law, Terry Brock of Keystone Heights, Fl., Ronald & Lora Brock of Lancaster, PA., Kenneth & Angela Brock of Douglasville, GA., stepsons, James I. Slappy of Albany, GA., Wade O. Slappy of Mobile, AL., stepdaughter, Susie Slappy, Thomasville, GA.,brother, Vester Brock, Bobby Brock of Thomasville and Gill Brock of N.J., sisters Joan Dukes & Betty Albritton of Thomasville, 15 grandchildren & several step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren & several step great grandchildren.
