Celebration of Life service for Cathy Chastain will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Minister Pat Chastain officiating. Cathy Elaine Chastain, age 69, of Thomasville, passed away on May 13, 2023, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 12, 1954, to the late Hansel P. and Josephine T. "Joan" Chastain. She was a unit secretary at John D. Archbold Hospital. Cathy was a devout Christian and devoted her life to God and her daughter. She loved and adored her family and was a very strong and graceful lady. Cathy was an avid gardener and enjoyed taking care of her fur babies. Survivors include her daughter Christina Elaine “Tina” Chastain of Thomasville; brother Marty Chastain (Deborah) of Thomasville; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Joanna Haven, brother Doug Chastain, and sister Harriet Pyles. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM in the chapel. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
