Graveside services for Cecil Melvin Taylor, 75 of Thomasville will be held at 2pm, Monday, March 12 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Texas Street. Rev. Mitch Clements will officiate. Mr. Taylor passed away March 7, 2018 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born June 10, 1942 in Brooks County, he was the son of the late Cecil Malachi Taylor and Novella Plymale Taylor. He was married to Judith Carroll Taylor, who preceded him in death in 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an X-Ray technician for Archbold Hospital. He is survived by his children, Michael Taylor of Naples, Florida, Missy Taylor of Thomasville and Phillip Taylor and wife Abbie of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister, Mary Jean Taylor-Heide (Bob) of St. George Island, Florida. The family will visit with friends 1-2pm, Monday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home, before the service.
