Charles Alan Champion

Graveside services for Charles Alan Champion, 58 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 10, 2020 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Virginia St. Rev. David Cook will officiate. Charles passed away on January 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born on January 22, 1961, in Thomasville to the late Claude Champion and Elizabeth Gilbert Champion. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a very sweet, kind, generous person who loved his family. He had a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He is survivors by his children Brooklyn Sheperd (Tyler) and Brittany Champion (Steven); step-children Michael Smith and Vanessa Dunn; grandchildren Jace Sheperd, Dawson Sheperd, Nixon Chancey, Madelyn Champion and Abigail Marble; Brother Steve Champion (Cindy); sister Janice Champion Beckham (Steve) and special friend Donna Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Heather Champion and brother Curtis Champion. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
