A memorial service for Charlie Emory Coffee, Jr., 65 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Coolidge Baptist Church. Rev. Adam Gilligan will officiate. Charlie passed away August 3, 2021 at Archbold Hospital. Born July 16, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles Emory Coffee, Sr and Nan Jones Coffee. He was married to Connie Wilson Coffee, who survives. He worked for Hurst Boiler for 41 years and was a member of Coolidge Baptist Church where he served as deacon and taught the men's Sunday school class. He enjoyed golfing and sailing. Other survivors include his mother of 48 years, Marjorie Coffee of Thomasville; sons, Brandon Coffee and wife Stephanie of Pavo, Seth Coffee and wife Ashley of Thomasville, Jesse Coffee and wife Lindsey of Ochlocknee and Zac Wilson of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Tonia Coffee, Alex James Coffee, Keisley Coffee, Gavin Coffee, Ella Coffee and Sadie Coffee; great-granddaughter, Emma Coffee; brother, Bruce Coffee and wife Karen of Thomasville; sisters, Anna Coffee Luckett and husband Steve of Dublin, MS and Martha Coffee of Lula, MS; numerous nieces & nephews and his prize goldfish, Wilber V and his loyal dog, Honey. The family will receive friends 10-11 am, before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Coolidge Baptist Church, 2068 E Verbena Ave, Coolidge, GA 31738.
