Charles Cooper

Memorial services for Charles L. Cooper of Ochlocknee will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Brock and Rev. Gary Folds officiating. Mr. Cooper passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on December 10, 1930 in Muskogee,Ok, he was the son of the late Arthur Leslie Cooper and Pearl Elizabeth Maher Cooper. Mr. Cooper was an active member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church where he was Deacon Emeritus and was retired Director of Maintenance from the Thomasville City School system. He served in the United States Marines for 20 years before retiring as a Captain and was a member of the Ochlocknee American Legion #265. Mr. Cooper was married to Vanda Baggett Cooper of Ochlocknee who survives. Other survivors include his daughers Leslye Hodge (Richard) of San Antonio, Tx, Candice Cooper Lamon of Thomasville; grandchildren Andrea Rossetti, Mary Alina, Reddington Trapp, Brian Lamon, Tyler Lamon; several great grandchildren; sister Shirley Royal of Trumann, Ak. He was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Cooper.
