Services for Charles Dean Williams, 72, of Thomasville, are at 3 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2008, at First Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Tom Jacobs will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williams died January 31, 2008. Born October 30, 1935, in Grady County, he was the son of the late George and Maudie Strickland Williams. On May 6, 1956, in Thomasville, he married Mozell Phelps Williams, who survives. He was the owner of Williams Electric Service & Signs. Mr. Williams was an avid outdoorsmen and fisherman. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Hope Williams, Bret and Angie Williams, all of Thomasville and Brad and Jan Williams of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Whitney, Blake, Lyndsey, Ethan, Payton and Denver; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Roy Hancock of Tallahassee, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carroll and Billie Williams of Cairo and Roger and Willena Williams of McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
