Charles Leighton Eason

Graveside services for Charles Leighton Eason will be at 2:00 pm Saturday April 18, 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Eason died April 15 at Northside Hospital. Born June 17, 1923 in Thomasville, GA, he was the son of the late William Boyd Eason and Fannie Lou Eason. He was married to the late Frances Eason. Survivors include daughters and son in law Tammy Lane and Charles Lane of Thomasville, son and daughter in law, Johnny and Julie Chastain of Gulf Breeze, FL., son and daughter in law Todd and Stacy Eason of Atlanta, daughter and son in law Diane and Robert Ashmore, Tallahassee, FL, son and daughter in law Lint and Jenny Eason of Tallahassee, FL and son and Chuck, of Orlando, FL, late brother and sister in law Lynwood and Mary Eason of Thomasville, many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He served as a Ball Turret Gunner in the Air Force in WWII and worked for Seaboard Coastline Railroad for 30 years.
