Graveside services for Charles Franklin Fletcher of Thomasville are at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Dr. Milton Gardner and the Rev. Vernon Fletcher will officiate. Mr. Fletcher died July 3, 2006 at Hospitality Care Center. Born August 11, 1921 in Colquitt Co., GA he was the son of the late Eulas Henry and Omie Philyaw Fletcher. On December 31, 1947 in Tifton, GA he married Jessica Trent Phillips Fletcher Jackie who survives. Mr. Fletcher was a veteran of the United States Army and was a United States Government Meat Inspector for 43 years for Sunnyland of Thomasville, Swift in Moultrie and Armour in Tifton. After retirement Mr. Fletcher opened a photography business, Wedding Perfect, which he ran for many years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Colquitt Co. and was a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Thomasville Touchdown Club. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Welch Goggins of Thomasville, daughter, Fredia Fletcher Dunn of Seneca, S.C.; grandchildren, Ann Marie and Cory Hallett of Acworth, GA, Jessica and Floyd White of Thomasville, Paul Welch Goggins, III of Atlanta, GA, Whitney Ann McSwain of Pensacola, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Louise Fletcher of Sylvester, GA, Vernon and Evelyn Fletcher of Thomasville, sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Aubrey Forester of Brandon, Florida, Betty Faye and Donnie Howard of Jesup, GA, sisters-in-law, Wanda Fletcher of Norman Park, GA, Frances Nalls of Brunswick, GA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Fletcher and Henry Fletcher and sisters, Pauline Maxwell and Nadine Butler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
