Charles Porter Griggs of Thomasville passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022 at Glen-Mor Nursing Home. Born on February 7, 1934 in Albany, Ga, he was the son of the late Porter Griggs and Chloe Ingram Griggs. Mr. Griggs was a retired contractor with Lennar Corporation in Miami and enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching football. He was married to Gail Richmond Griggs of Thomasville who survives. Other survivors include his daughter Ginger Garrity and husband Patrick of Thomasville, daughter Vicki Griggs of Miami, Fl, son Jesse Griggs of Thomasville; grandchildren Brittany Garrity of Coolidge and Shawn Garrity of Thomasville. He was preceded in death by his son Bradley Griggs and 6 brothers and sisters.
