Memorial services for Charles L. Linton of Jacksonville will be 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Jamie Nunally will officiate. Mr. Linton passed away on June 24, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born February 2, 1939 in Marianna, Florida, he was the son of the late Charles Elmer Linton and Ethel Letchworth. Mr. Linton was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include daughter, Sarah Wilson (William Norris) of Thomasville; son, Kenneth Linton of Thomasville; grandchildren, Tina Twiggs and husband James of Thomasville, Tara Starling and husband Matt of Nashville, Georgia, Leann Carter and husband Nick of Nashville, Georgia, Kenneth Linton of Thomasville, Beau Krumholtz of Thomasville and Moriah Linton of Thomasville; brother, Vernon Linton of Tallahassee; sisters, Ruth Ann Averitt of Jacksonville, Liddy Linton of Perry, Florida and Marydale Collins of Jacksonville and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Phillis Cody, Marie Trawick and brother Roy Cutsinger. Mr. Linton was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
