Private graveside services for Charles R. Wood, Sr. of Thomasville were held Saturday, August 16, 2003 at 2:00PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Rev. Keith Hill officiated. Mr. Wood Passed away August 14, 2003. He was born December 16, 1921 in Brooks County, GA., the son of the late Thomas Jefferson Wood and Martha Francis Jones Wood. On August 12, 1941 he married Eula Redding Wood who survives. They were married for 62 years. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Raymond and Gloria Wood; brother William Lenard Wood, and several niece and nephews.
