Charles Ray White, Sr.

Services for Charles Ray White, Sr. of Pelham, are at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Wendell Hollingsworth will officiate and interment will be in Rosewood Cemetery in Barwick. Mr. White died Feb. 27 at his residence. Born July 11, 1936 in Colquitt Co., GA he was the son of the late B. G. and Rusha White. On February 27, 1959 in Barwick, GA he married Ruby Ruth Tinsley White who preceded him in death on October 22, 2005. Mr. White was a security guard at Cairo High School. Survivors include a son, Charles White, Jr. of Pelham, son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Lisa White of Pelham, daughter, Tammy Miller of Climax; grandchildren, Toby Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Lauren White, Leea White; brother, Ralph White of Gilette, Ark. and sister, Voncile Mobley of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday at the Funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
