Charles Edward Shackelford

Graveside services for Charles Edward Shackelford will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday June 13, 2017 in Laurel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Gerry Simpson officiating. Mr. Shackelford passed away on Friday June 9, 2017 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on February 6, 1948 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Richard Rufus Shackelford and Hattie Marie Cox Shackelford. He was retired from Shackelford’s Construction Company. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other close family members. He is preceded in death by his siblings Richard Rufus Shackelford Jr., James Arthur Shackelford, Betty Marie Rogers, Patsy Godwin, Nell Steelwell and his aunt who raised him Viola Dennard.
