Charles L. Whiddon Jr.

Services for Charles L. Whiddon, Jr., age 57, of Ochlocknee will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Mr. Whiddon passed away on May 9, 2022. He was born on November 9, 1964, in Thomasville to Charles L. Whiddon, Sr. and Rubye (Lacey) Dove. Charles was the type of person who never met a stranger. He enjoyed life and his compassionate spirit led him to help others in need. He was a supervisor with Oil-Dri and was recently recognized for his 15 years of service there. He is survived by his wife, Mary Whiddon of Ochlocknee; mother, Rubye Dove of Calvary; father, Charles L. Whiddon, Sr. of Ochlocknee; sons, Lee Layton (Megan) of Tallahassee, FL and Trey Whiddon (Kaitlyn) of Coolidge; daughter, Mitzi Henderson (Johnny) of Coolidge; grandchildren, Leah Layton, Harley Henderson, Tripp Henderson, Rhyley Whiddon, Tyler Whiddon, and Charlie Whiddon; sisters, Cindy Revels (Eddie) of Wacissa, FL and Latrelle Harrell (Tim) of Cairo; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the Allen and Allen Celebration of Life Chapel from 4:30-5:30.
