Services for Charles William Eddings, Sr. of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Atkinson will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Eddings died August 9, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born July 9, 1933 in Colquitt Co., GA he was the son of the late Charles Melton and Maybelle Murphy Eddings. He was married to Lois Lacey Eddings who survives. He was a retired production manager from Georgia Forest Products and was Baptist faith. Other survivors include sons, Charles W. Eddings, Jr. of Thomasville, Wyatt E. Eddings of Lake Park, GA, David H. Eddings of Clarksville, TN, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, sisters, Mae Bryant of Dixie, GA, Ruthnia Bozeman of Quitman, GA, Josephine Carruthers of Norman Park, GA, Dorothy Rayburn of Edison, GA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Folds, Louise Summerlin and Christine Reagan.
