Charles Williams

Graveside services for Charles Williams, 86, of Monticello, FL will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate the service. Born November 27, 1927 in McRae, GA, he was the son of the late John D. and Juanita Rogers Williams. He was married to Mary Pafford Williams, who preceded him in death. Mr. Williams managed Dixie Plantation for many years and retired from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department. Other survivors include daughter Carol and husband Phil Miller of Orange Park, FL. and Rebecca Rozar of Crawfordville, FL., eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and sister Carolyn Nelson of Villa Rica, GA. Mr. Williams will be especially missed by his 4-legged best friend Missy. He was preceded in death by sons Roger Williams and Richard Williams, brother, J. D.
