Charlie Leroy Cox

Funeral Service for Charlie Cox will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Charlie Leroy Cox, age 84, died in his home on June 19, 2022. Leroy was born in Tift County, Ga, the son of Otis & Mary Cox. He attended Tift County High School, served in the Army and worked for the Ryder Company for 18 years. In retirement, he loved caring for his chihuahuas and playing his Facebook games. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Roosevelt, Ruby and Ruth; his wife of 28 years, Delores, and stepson Joe Hall. He is survived by his son Mike (Teresa) Cox; his daughter Diane (Mike Collins) Raines; stepchildren Debbie (Tim) Jones, Sandra (Rick) Trimm, and Janet Bynum; as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
