Charlotte Ann Hicks Edwards

Graveside services for Charlotte Ann Hicks Edwards, 79 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Ms. Edwards passed away February 25, 2014 at Archbold Hospital. Born September 3, 1934 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late George Winford Hicks and Beatrice Evelyn Ellis Hicks. Ms. Edwards was married to Dewey Edwards who preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter, Kathy Hitt of Thomasville and son, Donnie Edwards and wife Donna of Thomasville; grandchildren, Phillip Hitt, Kevin Hitt, Heather Edwards all of Thomasville and Holly Edwards of Camilla; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Ivan Hitt and RJ and Aiden Edwards; sister, Easter Davis of Thomasville; brothers, George Ronald Hicks of Rome and Wendell Hicks of Thomasville and her partner for 14 years, Clarence Jones. She was preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Lois Watson, Doug Hicks, Wallace Hicks and Carol Locke. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday, February 26 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
