Charlotte Louise Griffin

Mrs. Charlotte Griffin, 92, of Thomasville, Ga, passed away on August 2, 2022, at Camilla Gardens in Thomasville, Ga. A visitation will be held at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel in Thomasville, Ga on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 5 to 7 Pm. The service will be held at Midway Baptist Church on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 2 pm with Rev. Nathan Fowler officiating. Charlotte was born on April 1, 1930, in Springville, Maine to the late Ernest and Ruth Stocker, then later adopted by Hilda Gail Wightman. Charlotte first married Doc Hartley Jr. then married Grover Griffin Sr. of Thomasville, Ga. Charlotte is survived by sons, Carl Hartley and Gloria of Leesburg, Ga, Robert Griffin Sr. and Stephanie of Pavo, Ga, and Grover Griffin Jr. of Ochlocknee, Ga. Grandkids: Jason Sexton and Marie of Pavo, Ga, Christina Johnson and Quardell of Cairo, Ga. Robert Griffin Jr. and Kaylin of Tallahassee, Fl, Stevie Sexton of Tallahassee, Fl, Rebecca Martin of Leesburg Ga, Daniel and Jamie Martin of Leesburg, Ga, Jennifer Hartley and Joey Hartley of Tifton, Ga. She had 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years Grover Griffin Sr., Brother, Milton Stocker, Sister, Gertrude Shepherd, Daughter, Hilda Gail Hartley (sissy), and Grandmother, Edna Hutchins. Flowers and donations may be taken to Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Family and friends will be gathering after the service at the Ochlocknee Civic Club Center in Ochlocknee, Ga for food and fellowship.
