Charlotte Eugenia Elwell Pless

A memorial service for Charlotte Eugenia Elwell Pless, 78 of St. Petersburg, Florida will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Dawson Street Baptist Church. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and internment will be later at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Pless passed away August 23, 2017 in St. Petersburg. Born February 14, 1939 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Nadine Elwell. Charolette was married to Jim Pless, who also preceded her in death. She was a previous member of Dawson Street Baptist Church and loved to travel worldwide. Her and her husband founded Jim Pless & Company and she served as an officer for the company for many years. She is survived by brother, Darrell Elwell of Alligator Point, Florida; sister-in-law, Dixie Elwell of Glenview, Illinois and nephews, Derek Elwell of Nashville, Tennessee, Chris Elwell of Thomasville, Jonathan Elwell of Marietta and David Elwell of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was also preceded in death by brother, James Elwell.
