Cheryl Ridenhower

Memorial services for Cheryl Ridenhower will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1PM at Celebration Church. Pastor Jimmy Bryson will officiate. Mrs. Ridenhower passed away March 8, 2019 in Atlanta Georgia. Born April 15, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John David Gates and Margaret Eugene Witherspoon Gates, who survives. She was married to Jay Ridenhower for 44 years, who also survives. Mrs. Ridenhower worked for the Thomas County Library System. Other survivors include brothers David Gates of Pascagula, Mississippi and Darryl Gates of Gulf Breeze, Florida; her children Christy Cooke (Jeff) of Thomasville, and Michael Ridenhower of Miami, Florida; grandchildren Lilly Cooke, Isaiah Cooke, and Jendra Maker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dancing Cloud Horse Rescue which can be mailed at P.O. Box 6, Ochlocknee, GA 31773.
